• Where are sessions held?

    Sessions can be held in our offices at 9800 Northwest Fwy. #505, at your home, at the student's school or at a local library.
  • Are the sessions truly private, one-on-one sessions?

    Yes. All sessions are private, one-on-one sessions consisting of a student and Learning Specialist in a private instruction room.
  • How long does a session last?

    Generally sessions last one hour. However, session times can be adapted to the student’s level of attention, pace and tolerance.
  • When can sessions be scheduled?

    You can schedule sessions Monday - Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday sessions can be arranged upon request.
  • Are sessions offered year-round?

    Yes, we are a year-round facility. During the school year we provide after-school enrichment and tutoring programs. During the summer we conduct a variety of Summer Learning Programs for enrichment and subject preview for the upcoming semester.
  • Is there a minimum number of sessions required or a maximum allowed per week?

    The minimum number of sessions per week is one 1-hour session. There is no maximum number of sessions required.
  • How are the student and Learning Specialist matched up?

    In the initial consultation, we determine the student’s learning style and academic needs and consider the student’s preferences for the instructor’s gender and personality type. From this information, we match them with a Specialist who best complements the needs of the student.
  • How will I be informed of my program’s progress?

    Every two weeks, or more frequently if needed, your Learning Specialist will contact you by phone, email or fax about yourstudent’s ongoing progress. They will speak to you about the accomplishments you have made, any challenges to learning they have noticed, concerns that need to be addressed, and any questions you may have.
  • What subjects, grade levels and ages do your Learning Specialists teach?

    We work with students in all subjects, grade levels K-12. We also work with young adults and adults in test prep, TAKS, GED, SAT, ACT, high school entrance exams, standardized achievement tests, and ADHD Coaching. Parents whose children have ADHD can participate in our highly successful Coaching program as well.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    Cash, personal checks, money orders or credit card payments via Pay Pal.
